YHS FALL MARKET 2009
After a three year hiatus, the YHS Fall Market is returning on Saturday, October 24, 2009.
The York House Market has been a Parents’ Association tradition since its early days as the Yorkshire Market in 1965. It‘s the Parents’ Association biggest fundraiser, drawing people from all over the city.
ATTRACTIONS
The Fall Market uses the whole school and features rides, games, food, baking, preserves, our famous fashion booth, attic treasures, raffle, and a superb silent auction. It is great fun for the whole family from young to old. See the booth list.
The market is open to the public. It is a great event for the whole community. Come one! Come all!
DIRECTIONS
How to get to the market on Oct. 24th, 2009. The school site is at the corner of Granville and King Edward in Vancouver. Here is a link to a map of our location. Parking in the immediate neighbourhood will be restricted. The No. 25 bus runs along King Edward, and the No. 10 along Granville and both stop near the school in both directions.
ALLOCATIONS
What is done with the funds raised by the Fall Market? Allocations focus on enhancing student life at York House; helping the students reach their potential and beyond. In addition we support the greater community with donations.
